Meet Charlie
Charlie was born and raised in South Louisiana where people have a passion for great food. He has been cooking for over 30 years and has won several Wild Game Cooking Competitions and Gumbo Competitions.
"I love to put a smile on people's faces and watch the expression when they taste authentic Cajun food. One myth I have found while traveling around the country is when you say "cajun food," the very first thing people will usually reply is, "that stuff is spicy!" That is incorrect because authentic cajun food is about FLAVOR, not about spice. That is what inspired me to make Sweet Heat For Your Meat seasoning. I could never find one seasoning to do everything and taste the way that I wanted it to so I made my own at home. Sweet Heat For Your Meat is a blend of herbs and spices and it grabs all your taste buds at once and only leaves a slight tingle on your tongue from the pepper. It's evenly blended and can be used on just about anything from baking, blackening or grilling. I even have had people send me pictures of eating is on popcorn!
